Rajaratnam Co-Conspirator Chiesi Sentenced To 30 Months

Law360, New York (July 20, 2011, 6:21 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge sentenced Raj Rajaratnam co-conspirator Danielle Chiesi to 30 months in prison Wednesday for gathering inside tips about technology companies and sharing them with the Galleon Group founder.

The former New Castle Partners LLC trader stood with her hands behind her back, wearing a pale pink sheath dress, pearls and spiked platform pumps as U.S. District Judge Richard J. Holwell tersely issued her punishment, which included 250 hours of community service.
