Sony Hit With Data Protection Action Over Hacking

Law360, New York (July 19, 2011, 4:02 PM EDT) -- In the latest litigation over the hacking of Sony Corp.'s PlayStation Network, a customer filed a proposed class action Friday in California federal court accusing the company of breach of contract and failure to protect his personal information.

The customer, Octavio Laos, accuses the company of breach of contract and violations of California business law.
