2nd Circ. Denies Class Cert. Appeal In Moody's Suit

Law360, New York (July 21, 2011, 4:37 PM EDT) -- The Second Circuit on Wednesday refused to take up a challenge by a pension fund and two individuals to a New York federal court's order denying class certification in their securities fraud suit against Moody's Investors Service Inc.

A three-judge panel denied the plaintiffs' petition for leave to appeal the district court's March 31 ruling largely without comment, saying only that an immediate appeal was unwarranted.
