DirecTV Latin America Faces $39M Breach Of Contract Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (August 5, 2011, 4:50 PM EDT) -- RCTV International Corp. on Thursday struck DirecTV's Latin American subsidiary with a $39.8 million breach of contract suit in New York that claims DirecTV reneged on a broadcasting deal after Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez targeted RCTV for not carrying government programming on its television station.
