Engineering Co. Seeks Liability Win In DOE Contract Row

Law360, New York (August 11, 2011, 4:00 PM EDT) -- Tetra Tech EC Inc. asked a California federal court Wednesday for partial summary judgment that Ahtna Government Services Corp. was liable for breaching an agreement to work on a U.S. Department of Energy contract.

In a motion for summary judgment on liability, Tetra argues that Ahtna disregarded key provisions of a master ordering agreement under which Tetra was partnering with the company to jointly perform the contract, awarded by the DOE’s National Nuclear Security Administration.
