Priceline Founder's Co. Says Xbox, PlayStation Violate IP

Law360, New York (August 11, 2011, 7:04 PM EDT) -- The company led by the founder of Inc. filed suit Monday in Delaware federal court alleging the systems for storing player preferences on Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 and Sony Computer Entertainment America LLC's PlayStation devices violate Walker Digital LLC’s patents.

Walker Digital, founded by Jay Walker, who created the Priceline website, filed the complaint against Sony and its affiliates as well as Microsoft, claiming the companies’ online gaming systems infringe two of his company's patents.
