Gallery Owner Seeks $7.5M From Artist Over 'Assault'

Law360, New York (August 15, 2011, 7:47 PM EDT) -- A Huntington Beach, Calif., gallery owner on Friday sued artist Todd White for $7.5 million for allegedly orchestrating a scheme to hold her prisoner to steal back $1.5 million of his artwork and proprietary customer information, but White claims she was making forgeries of his pieces.
