Judge Trims Claims From US Bank Mortgage Fee Action

Law360, Washington (August 18, 2011, 7:42 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey federal judge on Wednesday trimmed some claims from a putative class action alleging US Bank NA improperly charged mortgage reinstatement- and payoff-related fees, but kept claims over misleading debt collection notices.
