Ex-Marsh Exec Hits Spitzer, Slate With $60M Libel Suit

Law360, New York (August 22, 2011, 1:42 PM EDT) -- A former Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. executive filed a $60 million defamation lawsuit Friday in New York against Eliot Spitzer and online magazine Slate, claiming one of Spitzer's columns libelously misrepresented the outcome of a price-fixing probe.
