Examiners Target BridgeWater In OT Action

Law360, New York (August 23, 2011, 3:12 PM EDT) -- Title examiners at BridgeWater & Associates Inc. hit it with a collective action Friday in Georgia, claiming the property appraisal and acquisition company skimped on overtime pay.

The suit accuses BridgeWater of violating the Federal Labor Standards Act by requiring its nonexempt title examiners to work into the evening and on weekends in order to complete their assignments, without compensating them for hours worked in excess of forty per week.
