Photog's IP Suit Against LA Times Goes To Arbitration

Law360, Los Angeles (August 23, 2011, 5:05 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday sent to arbitration a lawsuit alleging the Los Angeles Times infringed copyrights of Hollywood behind-the-scenes photographer David Strick by publishing almost 200 of his pictures without permission.

“The court finds in this case that there was an agreement to arbitrate, and that plaintiff’s claims as alleged in the complaint are within the scope of the arbitration provision,” U.S. District Judge Consuelo B.
