Rankled Rihanna Sues Over Water Damage In $7M Mansion

Law360, New York (September 1, 2011, 3:26 PM EDT) -- R&B singer Rihanna slammed Prudential California Realty and the previous owner of her $6.9 million Beverly Hills home with a breach of contract and fraud suit Wednesday in California court, claiming the eight-bedroom structure's faulty design led to water damage. 

The suit names former owner Heather Rudomin, real estate brokers Prudential California Realty and contractor Landmark Design Group LLC as defendants, claiming construction defects from home renovations led to significant flooding.
