9th Circ. Hands Unions Win In Dues Checkoff Battle

Law360, New York (September 13, 2011, 7:31 PM EDT) -- The Ninth Circuit on Tuesday granted two Unite Here locals a win in a long-running legal battle over union dues, vacating a National Labor Relations Board decision and holding that two Nevada hotel-casinos violated federal law when they stopped deducting dues from paychecks.
