Suits Over Google's Nexus One Consolidated

Law360, New York (September 15, 2011, 7:31 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Thursday consolidated a pair of putative breach of warranty class actions against Google Inc. and HTC Corp. alleging that Google's Nexus One smartphone is incapable of the high-speed Internet connections it promises.

U.S. District Judge Edward J. Davila combined the two suits after reviewing the parties' Sept. 9 joint case status statement urging the court to consolidate the two related suits because “consolidation would be more convenient, more efficient, and less costly than proceeding with the two cases as separate actions.”...
