2nd Possible Bidder Emerges For Dallas Stars

Law360, Wilmington (September 19, 2011, 5:17 PM EDT) -- Vancouver businessman Tom Gagliardi could have competition to buy the bankrupt Dallas Stars, with a lawyer for Chuck Greenberg — formerly the Texas Rangers' CEO and part-owner — saying Monday that his client was interested in the National Hockey League team.

Potential rival bidder Greenberg may make an offer through a business he controls called Texas Hockey Acquisition Co., company attorney Jeffrey Schlerf of Fox Rothschild LLP said at a Delaware bankruptcy court hearing.
