Sprint Can't See DOJ Docs In AT&T, T-Mobile Merger Suit

Law360, Washington (October 24, 2011, 7:15 PM EDT) -- A Washington federal judge on Monday shot down Sprint Nextel Corp. and C Spire Wireless Inc.'s attempt to get their hands on documents the U.S. Department of Justice is using in its case against AT&T Inc.'s proposed $39 billion purchase of T-Mobile USA Inc.

Sprint and C Spire, formerly known as Cellular South Inc., have filed their own suits seeking to stop the merger, parallel to one filed by the U.S. Department of Justice.
