Stanford Hospital Faces $20M Action Over Data Breach

Law360, New York (September 29, 2011, 9:25 PM EDT) -- Stanford University's hospital was hit Wednesday with a $20 million proposed class action over the recently revealed data breach that allowed the names, diagnoses and account numbers of 20,000 emergency room patients to be posted on a public website for nearly a year.
