Retired Judge To Mediate Dodgers' Ch. 11 Fight With MLB

Law360, New York (October 3, 2011, 10:37 PM EDT) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Monday appointed retired U.S. District Judge Joseph Farnan to serve as mediator between the Los Angeles Dodgers LLC and Major League Baseball as they fight over control of the Dodgers' bankruptcy proceedings.

Farnan, who retired last year from the Delaware district court, was appointed as mediator retroactively to July 5, when the court first asked him to help the Dodgers reach a settlement with MLB.
