Landry's Unit Takes On Eva Longoria's Steakhouse For $1M

Law360, New York (October 4, 2011, 10:06 PM EDT) -- A Nevada bankruptcy judge on Monday approved the $1 million sale of Eva Longoria's Las Vegas company Beso LLC to Landry's Restaurants Inc. subsidiary CHLN Inc. in a deal to pull the company’s Beso steakhouse and Eve nightclub out of bankruptcy.

Though some of Longoria's partners at Beso had opposed the sale, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Mike Nakagawa said it was “reasonable and appropriate” in light of the company’s expired lease on its current premises.
