Panel Moves Cases Against Cable And Network Giants

Law360 (June 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Network and cable television competitors will be fighting on the same side of the same courtroom after the the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation centralized 15 cases which accuse the media giants of infringing digital television and high speed Internet patents.

The panel on Wednesday moved the cases filed by patent-holding company Rembrandt Technologies LP to the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware for consolidated pretrial proceedings.
