MGA Fights To Keep Bratz Antitrust Case Alive

Law360, Los Angeles (October 11, 2011, 5:31 PM EDT) -- Attorneys for MGA Entertainment Inc. asked a California federal judge Tuesday to allow it to refile a lawsuit claiming Mattel Inc. violated antitrust laws in its pursuit of claims that a former employee stole the idea for MGA’s Bratz dolls, after the judge released a tentative decision dismissing the complaint.
