Contractor Exec Escapes Suit Over Unpaid Afghan Deals

Law360, New York (October 12, 2011, 10:20 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a former executive of U.S. military contractor Bennett-Fouch Associates LLC from a suit claiming the company stiffed Afghan subcontractors on construction contracts.

In granting Donnie Bennett's summary judgment motion, U.S. District Judge Royal Furgeson said his court had no personal jurisdiction over Bennett, who left Texas-based Bennett-Fouch in 2007 and has lived in Missouri since 2005.
