Enron Ex-Shareholders Face Uncertainty

Law360 (June 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Former Enron Corp. shareholders who are attempting to sue the now-defunct energy company’s underwriters will have to wait at least over the summer months to see if they can go ahead with their purported $40 billion securities class action.

The Supreme Court neglected to take any action on the case during its 2006-2007 term. The plaintiffs' application for a hearing with the High Court was neither granted nor denied. Instead, it will remain pending into the '07-'08 term.
