Avis Budget Agency Operators Sue Over Pay Practices

Law360, New York (October 18, 2011, 3:38 PM EDT) -- A group of Avis Budget Group Inc. agency operators launched a putative class action Thursday in California alleging the company misclassified them as independent contractors, depriving them of benefits and compensation they would have received as full-time employees.
