Netflix Fends Off Subscribers In Wal-Mart Antitrust MDL

Law360, New York (November 22, 2011, 10:20 PM EST) -- A California federal judge on Tuesday tossed all claims brought against Netflix Inc. by a class of subscribers in multidistrict litigation accusing Netflix of conspiring with Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to corner the online DVD sales and rental market.

U.S. District Judge Phyllis J. Hamilton granted Netflix's motion for summary judgment to resolve all claims against it just as the case was gearing up for trial.
