Comcast, Charter Snowed Customers On Refunds: Suits

Law360, New York (November 23, 2011, 5:33 PM EST) -- Comcast Corp. and Charter Communications Inc. were hit with proposed class actions in Massachusetts state court on Tuesday accusing the cable companies of cheating customers by not offering automatic refunds for service lost during the area's late-October snowstorm.

The suits, filed by a handful of Massachusetts cable customers represented by Jeffrey S. Morneau of Connor Morneau & Olin LLP, claim that the companies have made it unnecessarily difficult for customers to receive credits for the days they went without cable, Internet or phone service in October...
