MF Global Trustee Gets OK To Dump Leases

Law360, New York (November 28, 2011, 4:16 PM EST) -- The trustee liquidating MF Global Inc. won bankruptcy court approval Monday to cancel hefty leases for the company's main New York office and several others, freeing the failed broker-dealer from more than $735,000 in monthly rent payments altogether.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Martin Glenn approved a motion by liquidating trustee James W. Giddens to reject a more than $425,000 lease and a nearly $296,000 sublease for the company's main offices in the Park Avenue Plaza in Manhattan.
