Comcast Techs Blast Pest-Filled Facility In Race Bias Suit

Law360, New York (November 30, 2011, 2:00 PM EST) -- Technicians employed at Comcast Corp.’s South Side facility in Chicago lodged a putative class action Monday claiming the cable provider unlawfully discriminated against black employees and customers by providing pest-infested facilities and supplying defective equipment.

Eleven named defendants filed the suit in Illinois federal court on behalf of more than 200 service and line technicians, alleging Comcast knowingly discriminated against black customers and the employees who serviced those customers.
