Upper Deck CEO Wants Out Of Abdul-Jabbar’s Likeness Suit

Law360, New York (November 30, 2011, 4:19 PM EST) -- The CEO of The Upper Deck Co. Inc. should be dropped from basketball icon Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s suit accusing the trading card company of using his likeness without permission, an attorney for Upper Deck told a California state judge on Wednesday.
