Orion Loses Fight Over Exclusion From $1B Army Contract

Law360, New York (December 1, 2011, 6:06 PM EST) -- The U.S. Court of Federal Claims on Thursday granted a motion dismissing Orion Technology Inc.'s protest over its exclusion from a shared $983 million contract for the U.S. Army, rejecting Orion's claims that the Army should have filled in the blanks on Orion's bid spreadsheets.

U.S. Judge Margaret M. Sweeney's reasoning for the dismissal remained sealed Thursday, but she granted the Army's motion to dismiss while denying Orion's motion for judgment on the administrative record.
