Zynga, Vostu Settle Online Gaming Copyright Battle

Law360, New York (December 6, 2011, 3:54 PM EST) -- Vostu USA Inc. has agreed to shell out funds and alter some games to settle lawsuits pending in California and Brazil that accuse it of violating rival online gaming company Zynga Inc.'s copyrights, the companies said Tuesday.

“Zynga and Vostu have settled the copyright lawsuits and counterclaims against each other in the United States and Brazil,” the companies' joint statement said. “As part of the settlement, Vostu made a monetary payment to Zynga and made some changes to four of its games.”
