Roscoe's Chain Argues Copyright Standard In 9th Circ.

Law360, Los Angeles (December 9, 2011, 5:56 PM EST) -- The owner of the Roscoe's House of Chicken 'n Waffles chain on Friday challenged a ruling that it had infringed eight of Sony/ATV Harmony's songs, telling the Ninth Circuit that Sony must prove that live performances at the restaurants were “substantially similar” to its artist's works.
