Bondi, BofA Witness Spat Continues

Law360 (July 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In the latest punch to fly in the Parmalat SpA securities litigation, the dairy king's chief executive has asked the judge to grant his expert witnesses a protective order to calm their fears about testifying.

Enrico Bondi on Thursday filed a cross-motion in response to Bank of America Corp.'s bid to block the testimony of his expert witnesses.

The CEO charged that BofA appealed to its auditor, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, to put pressure on its Italian counterpart, PricewaterhouseCoopers SpA, to keep three of its auditors from testifying...
