Adidas Heads To Trial In Pared Down 'We Not Me' Suit

Law360, New York (January 3, 2012, 3:21 PM EST) -- An Oregon federal judge on Thursday partially tossed a licensing company’s trademark infringement suit against Adidas AG and the National Basketball Association Inc.'s marketing arm over their "We Not Me" advertising campaign, but sent unfair competition claims to trial.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Paul Papak partially granted a motion for summary judgment brought by sportswear giant NBA Properties Inc. and its co-defendants — which also include the Boston Celtics and Celtics player Kevin Garnett — on We Not Me Ltd.’s trademark infringement claims.
