Air France Gears Up To Shoot Down Price-Fixing Case

Law360, New York (July 18, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Air France was given more time Tuesday to file papers in support of its efforts to dismiss the air cargo price-fixing litigation against it and other carriers.

Since Judge Viktor V. Pohorelsky's order granted a motion for a five-day extension that the airline filed on Friday, Air France now must file its papers by Wednesday.

The move marks Air France as an anomalous hold-out in a spate of litigation that many major airlines have already moved to settle.
