Army Can't Shake SAIC Suit Over Language Contract

Law360, New York (January 10, 2012, 7:13 PM EST) -- A U.S. Court of Federal Claims judge on Monday saved Science Applications International Corp.'s bid to reverse the U.S. Department of the Army Intelligence and Security Command’s decision not to award the company a foreign language support services contract.

Senior Judge James Merow said in an opinion unsealed Monday that while he didn't necessarily agree with the merits of the Virginia-based company's case, the government's motion to dismiss based on lack of standing and jurisdiction were not sustainable.
