Mercedes Loses Bid To Sink Suit Over Leak Defects

Law360, New York (January 13, 2012, 9:38 PM EST) -- Mercedes-Benz USA LLC lost its bid Thursday to nix a putative class action alleging it failed to notify consumers about a defect in the water-management system of its E-Class vehicles, but a California federal judge said a hearing will be needed to determine whether the plaintiff has standing to sue.
