Climate Change Bills Flood The Capital

Law360 (July 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As climate change legislation continues to flow into Congress due to growing concern over global warming, a new report helps energy lawyers assess the merits of the legislation that has been introduced thus far.

The roundup report, issued Tuesday by independent research organization Resources for the Future, compares major market-based climate change proposals currently under consideration in the 110th Congress.

The report's matrix is designed to allow policymakers to have a provision-by-provision assessment of the bills, according to Ray Kopp, RFF senior fellow.
