Six Flags Goers Win Class Cert. In Norovirus Suit

Law360, New York (January 19, 2012, 10:22 PM EST) -- A New York state court on Wednesday certified a class of more than 600 park goers who contracted stomach illnesses caused by a 2008 norovirus outbreak after visiting the Six Flags Great Escape Lodge & Indoor Waterpark.

Judge David B. Krogmann of New York Supreme Court in Warren County defined the class to include visitors who fell ill with gastrointestinal sickness either during or within three days of their visit to the Queensbury, N.Y., water park in March 2008, and who also reported or responded to...
