A&E Tells 9th Circ. ‘Gangland’ Unmasking Was Free Speech

Law360, New York (February 1, 2012, 8:14 PM EST) -- The producers of the television series “Gangland” on Tuesday asked the Ninth Circuit to overturn a lower court’s refusal to toss a former gang member’s suit claiming his life was threatened when the show revealed his identity, saying the move was protected speech.
