Judge Tentatively Dismisses Ditropan Complaint

Law360, New York (July 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In anticipation of a hearing Friday, a federal judge tentatively granted a motion to dismiss amended antitrust charges against Johnson & Johnson subsidiaries Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Alza Corp. over the marketing and sale of Ditropan XL.

On Thursday, Judge Jeffrey S. White of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said he was "tentatively granting" the J&J units’ request to dismiss an amended complaint filed by American Sales Co. Inc. in order to avoid rehashing arguments already raised in briefings.
