BofA Wants To Shield CEO From Depositions In MBIA Suit

Law360, New York (February 16, 2012, 7:01 PM EST) -- Bank of America Corp. on Wednesday indicated that it wants to stop its CEO from being deposed in MBIA Insurance Corp.'s suit accusing BofA unit Countrywide of fraudulently inducing it to insure mortgage-backed securities backed by risky home loans.

On Wednesday, BofA filed a proposed order to show cause why the New York state court overseeing the MBIA case should not grant its bid for a protective order against the deposition of its CEO, Brian Moynihan.
