For Subprime Collapse Casualties, A New Practice

Law360, New York (July 31, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP has launched an interdisciplinary subprime mortgage group in its New York office spanning members of the firm's litigation, corporate financial, real estate, bankruptcy, securities and white collar crime practices.

Partners in the group said they have worked together extensively on issues relating to the collapse of the subprime lending market for at least four years. The Tuesday announcement of a full, formal practice team, they said, came in response to the market downturn and to client interest.
