GAO Tosses Protest Of $230M NASA Research Contract

Law360, Chicago (March 1, 2012, 8:21 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office released a decision Wednesday rejecting ASRC Research & Technology Solutions LLC's bid protest over a $230 million contract for development work at a NASA research center, finding the agency's evaluation was reasonable and supported.

In a Feb. 14 decision previously subject to a protective order, the GAO shot down ASRC's arguments that NASA's evaluation of its technical, past performance and cost proposals was unreasonable and inadequately documented, denying its effort to wrest the contract away from awardee Vantage Partners LLC....
