Wynn Resorts Plans Vote To Oust Board Member

Law360, New York (March 7, 2012, 12:56 PM EST) -- Casino operator Steve Wynn and his Wynn Resorts Ltd. are planning a shareholder vote to remove Japanese tycoon Kazuo Okada from the company's board of directors over allegations he bribed gambling regulators in the Philippines and elsewhere, Wynn Resorts said Wednesday.

The announcement comes two weeks after Okada was booted from the board of Wynn Resort's Macau subsidiary, following a company-commissioned investigation that uncovered apparent violations by Okada and his associates of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the company's code of conduct, including cash...
