Travel Agents Fight Airlines' Call For Judgment

Law360, New York (August 7, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Travel agents accusing roughly two-dozen major airlines of conspiring to deny them their traditional commissions have resisted the airlines' attempt to recover an early judgment.

The travel agents filed a memorandum of opposition Monday to the airlines' motion for judgment, which was lodged June 29 in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, arguing that early judgment was not permitted under the circumstances of the case, and that the defendants' reasoning depended on a misreading of the Supreme Court's recent Twombly decision....
