Jury Deadlocked In 'Desperate Housewives' Firing Case

Law360, Los Angeles (March 15, 2012, 9:13 PM EDT) -- The California state jury in Nicollette Sheridan's case against producers of the ABC show “Desperate Housewives” said late Wednesday that it was unlikely they would be able to reach a verdict on the actress's wrongful termination claim.

The 12 members on the panel, which began deliberating Wednesday, told Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Allen White that they didn't believe there was anything the court could do to help them reach a decision. Sheridan's case will have to be tried a second time if nine jurors...
