American Home Mortgage Seeks Stay In FLSA Suit

Law360, New York (August 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Bankrupt lender American Home Mortgage Corp. has asked a federal judge to stay all proceedings in a Fair Labor Standards Act suit filed against it in 2004, citing the company's Aug. 6 Chapter 11 filing.

Attorneys for defendants American Home Mortgage Corp. and American Home Mortgage Investment Corp. submitted the request in the form of a letter, with the company's bankruptcy petition attached, to U.S. District Judge John G. Koeltl on Wednesday.
