Dodgers, Beaten Fan Reach Deal On Bankruptcy Claim

Law360, Wilmington (March 19, 2012, 2:08 PM EDT) -- The Los Angeles Dodgers LLC has removed a potential obstacle to the team’s reorganization after reaching an agreement on the bankruptcy claim of a fan who was severely beaten outside the team’s stadium last year, according to court papers filed Friday.

Under the agreement filed in Delaware bankruptcy court, the Dodgers have withdrawn their bid to disallow the claim, while the fan, Bryan Stow, has agreed not to object to the team’s reorganization plan and to only seek recovery from the team’s insurance policies.
