Carrier IQ Seeks To Merge Smartphone Privacy Cases In Calif.

Law360, San Diego (March 29, 2012, 7:41 PM EDT) -- Counsel for application developer Carrier IQ Inc. on Thursday argued before a federal panel that dozens of proposed class actions claiming the company secretly gave smartphone users’ personal data to cellphone providers should be consolidated in California federal court, where the majority of the cases were filed.
